According to him, “The measures include locating medical facilities not more than five minutes walk from the pilgrims and ensuring that pregnant women were not allowed to perform hajj exercise.”
He said that the Commission has really done all it takes to see that things work out fine, he added that two medical facilities were provided in Madinah, while seven were in Makkah to cater for Nigerian pilgrims.
NAHCON, has promised to look into the allegation leveled against states that made use of agents in the collection of Hajj fares from prospective pilgrims
The chairman of the commission, Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed, said the commission had received reports of how some of the pilgrims were duped. He vowed that any state official found guilty will face the music.
